Doris R. Hart
97, of Spring Hill (Timber Pines), passed away on March 31, 2015. Doris was born in Eldersridge, PA on July 10 1917 to Ward and Emma Rosensteel. Doris graduated from Blairsville High School and the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She taught school for 5 years before marriage to Arthur on June 14, 1941 at the home they built. Together they owned the Ford Dealership in Saltsburg. In the 60's the closed the dealership and Doris returned to Indiana to complete her undergraduate degree and continued to earn a Masters in Education. She taught in the Penn Hills school district, was an assistant principal and later reading specialist until retirement. Upon retirement Doris moved to Florida and was active in the Timber Pines Community . She traveled, loved her ballroom dancing and won many contests.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur Hart who passed away on January 18, 1970 and her beloved sister, Thelma Hartman.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Linda & Terry Stapleton of Spring Hill and Wells Maine as well as her granddaughter Sharon and husband, Nick Paone; three great grandchildren Ashley, Lauren, and Drew.
